The DB MkIII SYX 967 has been in the capable hands of the Woodgate family since Rex prepared and managed the car for racing for its first owner in the USA way back in 1957. The tradition continues today and for the last 30 years Jon Gross has enjoyed the benefits of this relationship with Rex, Chris and this very successful car.

Probably the most prestigious rally for historic cars, the Mille Miglia this year attracted over 1350 entry applications for 375 places and the DB MkIII was accepted at the first time of asking. “Just finishing this gruelling event is a ‘win’ and the car was brilliant throughout” said Jon at the finish amongst the great and good in Brescia.
